The newest edition of Newtype, the April issue to be exact, will announce some good news for those who have watched, and haven’t watched the anime Gurren Lagann. There will be a theatrical version of the anime to be released sometime this decade. That’s pretty much all they have told us, leaving us poor Gurren Lagann lovers begging for more information.
Here is my interpretation of this news. Now Gainax loves its theatrical movies of the different anime series it puts out, especially the ones with the mecha, so this shouldn’t be a surprise. This will probably just be another super-concentrated version of Gurren Lagann's story, told in probably two or so hours. It might contain new animation as well, and if I had to guess it would replace the scenes that came from episode 4. I’m not sure if this project is a good thing, but it might be a good alternative for those who don’t want to sit through a 27 episode series.

Ugh. I had to work this weekend, which sucked major balls, but I earned 92 all together. ...I got to keep 32. We ran out of hot water so SOMEONE had to pay for it. Wee. I didn't really do anything productive. I ended up partying too hard and talking like an idiot to Demmy. ...Weeee! I never wanted to go to Tuscon faster in my life.
The fact the Where the Wild Things Are movie is getting re-shot makes me saaaad. I want the little prince movie. ...That's some fanart I want to do. ...Badly. I might re-read that, for the 7326873267326th time. I lost my inspiration for my pirate story, and I really want to get it back. Any help guys?
Also. REALLY don't want to go to school tomorrow.

First of all, Happy Birthday Bettyann~
My father went to the doctor today. Seems he has been dubbed "Out of health to work" So... Our greatest source of income is... gone. My dinky little job can't support us all, and I don't see my mom enough as it is. I'm spooked. I'm panicked. I'm scared. What's going to happen when I'm gone?
It's going to be strange coming home to my father hooked up to an oxygen tank. I always thought that only really fucked up people get those. ...I don't know who's right. It's not like he's some Nam Vet... I don't know. My stomach feels like it's filled with wires. I'm... just confused.

There was some party in Atlantic CIty. So you and a friend were going to NY.Or something, When I found you two we wern't in NY, we had to go there. I didn't have a suitcase for some reason. I think your friend was Natalie. We walked in the woods, you liked that. and there was a river of dirty water, you wanted to cry. It became night time, and we were in a building. I think this is when I got a good look at you, I can't remember your face now, but you were childlike. My mother an I thought you were adorable. I said we can see the city now, you didn't care, I told you too look up, and you freaked. Above us was a skyscraper towering over. We got to the ocean. It was the middle of day again. we had to take a ferry to the city. The water was really really really blue, you liked that. The ferry was filled with old people. I don't remember if we got to the city.
